Little River County Pioneer Families Certificate Program
The Little River County Genealogy Society is proud to offer the following certificates to the descendants of those courageous families who settled our county.
Our primary goal is to honor these early pioneers by recognizing the sacrifices and contributions they made and fostering an interest in the culture and history of our county.
Eligibility
To qualify for a Pioneer or Early Settlers Certificate, an applicant must be directly descended from an ancestor who settled in what is now Little River County as follows:
- Pioneer Certificate
- Settlement in what is now Little River County on or before date of organization—March 5, 1867
- Early Settlers Certificate
- Settlement in Little River County between March 6, 1867 and January 1, 1901
